First day back from Thanksgiving break...what a bummer. It would be perfect if you just subtracted the going to class business. =) It was pretty good, and I had a great time going back to work. It's good to get back into the swing of things, expecially since in 3 weeks the semester is going to be over!!! It's a beautiful thing! Well the drive back from Cali was amazing, we made it back in 17 hours so it was basically smooth sailing all the way home! No snow at all, which was great! It was amazing to see a bunch of my friends and to be with my family and sleep in my heated water bed!!! Oh yeah!!! I do have to say it's a tad bizare living out of a suit case at my own home! What are you gonna do? I didnt' get much sleep, but it was worth every moment! Good old elk grove! God has truly blessed me with two amazing places to call home!

Well, today was quite an amazing day!!! My 8:00 class was only 30 mins. long, and then my 9:25 was cancelled so I actually had quite a nice morning since I didn't have to go back to class until 12:15. Then today at work I learned how to close down the office for the day so that was interesting! I do have to say, I love my job! So much that for my oral communication class I have to give a persausive speech, and due to a conversation with my roommate Kate, (who informed me that she hadn't flossed in 3 years) I am doing my persuasive speech on "Why it really is important to floss." I have plenty of fun visuals and I think it's going to be great times!!! I'm kinda a nerd but I'm o.k with it! Anyways, I'm leaving for home (CA) in 3 days! Which is really amazing and I'm pumped! So to those of you Californian's I hope to see you soon!

Well...Let's see if this works! There's a first time for everything right? This weekend has been busy and went by way to fast. Can't believe I have to go back to school tomorrow! Thursday night (yes our weekend starts on thrusday!), me and my stairwell went to King Cougar, where about 20 nominated guys put on quite a show to win the title of "King Cougar". Each stairwell nominated a guy to compete, and then the guys each participated in a cat walk, a talent portion, and a question an answer segment! Needless to say...it was quite hillarious! I do have to say that my stairwell, THE HIGHLAND's guy won!!! So he got an e-box and we all got free cold stone! Yippee! Then we started watching The Ring at Christian's room in the Cockpit, but visitation hours came far too soon. We went to finish up the movie in the student center on someone's laptop....but it was closed for carpet steaming...??? So we got blankets and and bundled up outside in the 35 degree weather for the remaining 20 mins. of the movie. THen we went to lookout mountian to see the beautiful lights of Denver. Then for some reason got the notion to drive around boulder until 3:30 in the morning. Needless to say we came home and crashed! Friday morning I worked from 12 - 5:30 at the mailroom, which is always a fun time. I always try to do homework...but generally it never works out. Too many distractions! After work I attempted to find more cheap christmas decorations, and with out much success I found a red bow for our door, a small stream of c-mas lights for our bathroom and some tinel stuff. Oh well...I'm sure after Thanksgiving the selections will get better! I then went to wal-mart and picked up some stuff, including a new movie! Where the Heart Is! Good stuff. I came home to an empty house which was relaxing for a change, only problem was that I wanted to watch my new stinkin movie...but the remote was missing and so I couldn't get our dvd player to work. So after an hour of searching for our remote and trying to clean up our house....I still was not able to watch my movie...so I watched That 70's show and then crashed. Saturday was a fun time. I worked in the morning from 10 - 2, then we went to see the school play JB about the story of Job, it was very good. Then we had a family dinner of ordering Pizza from Black Jacks, and started to watch Where the Heart is....because we ended up finding the remote in the springs our our lovely couch! GGRRRR!!! Later that night my room had a hair dying party, and we all dyed our hair! Mine is a deep strawberry blonde and apparently it "brings out my skin tones and eyes". I think I like it but I'm still getting used to it. Then Sunday, I went to Bear Valley Church and then came home and had left over pizza for lunch. Since then I've been trying to get homework done...with no success. So it's off to 5 page paper land.
